Three full-time **Psychology Technician GS(05-06-07)** (research assistant) positions at the VISN 17 Center of Excellence (CoE) for Research on Returning War Veterans, a unified scientific and educational center of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs designed to foster broad spectrum inquiry into the mental health problems associated with combat exposure. Our Center is uniquely capable of conducting translational research on the biochemical, neurological, and psychological bases of the physical and mental health problems commonly afflicting our Veterans and their families.

Psychology Technician positions will be assisting on a few diverse projects in line with our mission involving activities in support of research such as clinical interviewing, assisting with recruitment and retention, and data entry for clinical trials, with opportunities for contributing to research presentations and publications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, neurology, biology, social work, or related field.
  • Research experience or interest in research (e.g., presented a scientific poster).
