The Biobehavioral and Social-Emotional Development (BASE) Lab (PI: Dr. Nicholas Wagner) in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Boston University is seeking a full-time Lab Manager to assist with the coordination of multiple research projects. Research projects broadly focus on understanding the systems and processes that promote psychosocial adaptation or contribute to the emergence of psychopathology across development. Specifically, the BASE Lab examines how early experiences and children’s self-regulation shape trajectories across various domains of adaptive functioning, including social competence, prosocial and empathic behaviors, and school success, and maladaptive functioning, including aggression, callous-unemotional traits, and anxiety. This position is ideal for a recent graduate looking for additional research experience prior to applying to graduate school in a field related to children’s health, such as developmental or clinical psychology programs, as it provides invaluable experience employing cutting-edge research methodologies to answer complex and important questions.
