Research Study Coordinator for Innovation and Digital Health Accelerator Project at Boston Children’s Hospital

We are looking for a Research Study Coordinator to join the Gaab Lab ( and the Innovation and Digital Health Accelerator (IDEHA; as soon as possible. The successful candidate will assist with day-to day operations and functions related to the development of an online early literacy milestone screener/platform ( Furthermore, s/he will oversee a large-scale national validation study for the early literacy milestone screener. This includes recruitment of school districts and preschools/day cares nationwide, scheduling of school-base testing with administrative personnel in the districts, supervision, coordination, training of psychometric testers who will screen children in their local school districts, overseeing data scoring and entry into online databases as well as database maintenance, management of project funds and administrative work (e.g. preparation of internal review board proposals, purchasing supplies). The ideal candidate is highly motivated, demonstrates excellent communication skills and has experience in coordinating large-scale projects within school districts or other educational settings. Furthermore, s/he has experience with psychometric assessments and knowledge of project management and data base maintenance. Advanced computer skills highly desirable but not required. Bachelor’s Degree in education, psychology, child development, cognitive science, or related field required and a Master’s degree in a related field (especially in education) is a plus. We will also consider candidates with a background in speech and language pathology or reading specialists. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, innovative, changing environment.
